Sanction Financial penalty
Decision Date: 31st July 2026

What This Means:

Holland Park Leisure Limited was fined £150,000 for not following important social responsibility rules that help protect players. They had previously been warned about these issues but did not fix them and provided misleading information to the Gambling Commission. Players can continue to play as normal, but it's a reminder to stay aware of how operators manage player safety.

Following a review of the operating licence undertaken against Holland Park Leisure Limited (“the Licensee”), the Gambling Commission (“the Commission”) found that the Licensee: Failed to comply with Social Responsibility Code (SRCP) Provision 3.5.6 - Multi-operator non-remote Social Responsibility code. In line with the Commission’s Licensing, Compliance and Enforcement policy statement and the Statement of principles for determining financial penalties, the Commission has decided to impose a financial penalty of £150,000 under section 121(1) of the Act in respect of the SRCP failing. A significant aggravating factor was that Commission Officials had previously advised the Licensee of the non-compliance, it did not take remedial action at that time and it provided misleading information to the Commission. Commission Officials note that once the licence review commenced the Licensee took remedial action to ensure future regulatory compliance.
